Technical
programme
The technical programme consists of oral and poster
presentations as well as workshops, field trips and
short courses, covering a whole range of geoscience
disciplines. The oral and poster sessions will run parallel
from 10 to 12 June 2008. Further, all the lecture rooms
are located conveniently in the same area, allowing
for a quick transfer from one room to another. Rome
2008 is an international conference; therefore all the
presentations will be given in English.
Sessions
On Tuesday the executive sessions "The State of
the Oil & Gas Industry R&D"and "Technology
as a Key Factor to Sustainability"will take place.
On
Thursday there will be a Spatial Data Management session.
PACE
support
The EAGE–PACE Programme supports geoscientists
from Central and Eastern Europe to actively participate
at the 70th EAGE Conference & Exhibition incorporating
SPE EUROPEC 2008.
Speakers of accepted oral and/or poster presentations
may apply for this support (until 24 March 2008). Please
refer to speakers/chairmen for the conditions.
Earthdoc
On Earthdoc, EAGE members can access the abstracts of
papers and proceedings presented at EAGE conferences
since 2000. The user interface offers a variety of ways
to browse the database and find the material you want.
This material will be continuously updated as new events
take place, and it is also planned to add older abstracts
and other material to the content in due course.
